Annual Arbor Day Festival ScheduledUPDATE: Due to inclement weather, the Athens State University Arbor Day has been postponed until April 20th.  A group gathers as a tree is planted during the Arbor Day Festival in 2015. AL – Athens State University will be hosting its annual Arbor Day Festival on Saturday, April 13 from 1:00 – 5:00 pm on Founders Hall Lawn. The festival will offer something fun for the whole family including inflatable attractions for kids, historic tree tours on Athens State’s campus, arts and crafts, face painting, and free food.
