When I was first told about the Piney Chapel American Farm Heritage Days' Tractor Ride I thought it would be more like a hayride. Then when I got there it was a tractor pulling little cars behind it with nice wooden bench seats and there were several of them like a train. It is an open air ride.

Hundreds of people played in the mud this past weekend to raise funds for a much-needed cause.

The 4th Annual Mud Volleyball for a Cure tournament held at Swan Creek Park in Athens was a major success raising thousands of dollars for the American Cancer Society.
