Athens-Limestone County Citizens, We can help those less fortunate: the homeless ... those who have fallen on tough times! Please mark the first week of each month on your calendars. Shop those BOGO bargains! We will collect... ... donations of non-perishable, in-date food items ( pop top containers are a must for homeless) and small ( hotel size) toiletries the first week/weekend of each month all year. Watch for the “Lil Red Wagon” at The Tillers, 208 North Houston Street in Athens, AL. Realizing a third of America’s homeless are veterans and a growing percentage of those are females, we must offer assistance NOW! Will you please help us? Inaugural week for “Lil Red Wagon Collections” is October 1-October 8, 2018 9:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. daily. SHOP and DONATE! This first donation week includes our famous Fiddlers Convention Weekend in Athens. Please help us help others! All donations will inturn be taken to LCCI, Inc.(Limestone County Churches Involved, Inc.). We hope the “Lil Red Wagon” overflows. We can make such a difference when we all work together!
