Local Group Dean Comes to Singing on the Square July 20thThe Athens-Limestone Tourism is excited to bring another new face to the Summer Concert Series this month; Dean! This husband/wife duo currently live in Athens, Alabama and have made it their home. They both have been involved in music from an early age and their musical paths are what brought them together. You can hear them... ... on the East side of the Square July 20th from 6-8PM on Marion Street. " 'Dean' offers a variety of Music from country to classic rock, said Tourism Director Teresa Todd. They are both writers as well and have several songs on their current album self titled "Dean" which they released 2 years ago. They pride themselves in a fun, family friendly, energetic show with an emphasis on musicianship, professionalism, and harmony, this feels like the perfect show for all our Singing on the Square followers of any age. " Briana was a writer and artist for Warner Chapell in Nashville,Tn from 2006-2008 . The husband and wife duo have shared the stage with Sammy Kershaw, Richie McDonald, Colin Ray, John Anderson, STARSHIP, and Buddy Jewell. They have headlined festivals and events in Alabama such as the Alabama jubilee festival. They Love Music and love the opportunity to share it with others. The street is cordoned off prior to performance - so come early and set up your camp chairs and grab a bite to eat before the 6:00PM show. Rain Location: Vietnam Veterans Building 17915 West Elm Street in Athens just east of the Elm Street/Market Street Intersection . Show will perform as planned at 6:00PM.
