Dateline: January 28, 2019, Athens, AL – Athens State University will be hosting a film screening of “Won’t You Be My Neighbor” on Friday, February 8 at 5:00 pm in McCandless Hall. This event is free and open to the public.

... the legacy of Fred Rodgers, played by Morgan Neville. The film focuses on Rodgers’ radically kind ideas and his ability to stand firm in his beliefs about the importance of protecting childhood even though the nation was quickly changing around him.

The screening is sponsored by RSVP, AARP, and Athens State University.
