Athens State's Center for Lifelong Learning to Host Community BreakfastAthens, AL – Athens State University’s Center for Lifelong Learning will be hosting a “CommUNITY Breakfast” in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on Friday, January 25 at 8:30 am. Dr. Carolyn McKinstry, survivor ... ...of the 1963 Sixteenth Street Baptist Church bombing in Birmingham, Alabama, will be the event’s keynote speaker. The event is free and open to the public, but space is limited to the first 150 attendees. Guests are asked to register by calling the CLL at 256-233-8260 or visiting their website at athens.edu/CLL. The Center for Lifelong Learning is located in Athens’ downtown square at 121 S.
