... community favorite Athen State Community Band.   The band will take the steps of the Marion Street Side of the Limestone County Courthouse for an evening of your favorite movie themes, show tunes and other sounds under the direction of Mr. Stephen Porter, Executive Director of Athens High School Band.

Attendees should bring a camp chair or lawn chair and are invited to come early to enjoy the shops and restaurants of downtown.  Several area eateries now offer outdoor dining nearby - a great way to enjoy the music and a meal.

If the weather dampens the day near the time of showtime, the performance will be cancelled.
