ATHENS STATE TO HOST FLAG DAY CELEBRATION Athens, AL – Athens State’s annual Flag Day Celebration and cookout is scheduled for Friday, June 14 at 12:00 pm in the Sandridge Student Center Ballroom on the Athens State University campus. The event honors the United States flag and our nation’s armed forces, past and present. Dr. Lionel Wright, Assistant Professor of Business in Athens State’s College of Business, will be the guest speaker.
