27th Annual Athens State Alumni Golf Classic
... from Dunkin’ Donuts, lunch from Food Fite with check-in at 10:30 am and a shotgun start at 11:30 am. Dinner from Greenbrier and prizes will follow the tournament in the clubhouse.
Skill prizes will be awarded for the Championship Flight, First Flight, Longest Drive and Closest to the Hole. Additional prizes include a two night stay at Ross Bridge with breakfast available at 5 chances for $20, 10 chances for $35 or 25 chances for $50. Individuals or businesses can sponsor a half-hole starting at $600 and/or a team for $800 which includes promotional consideration on the course and website. Each player will receive a $50 Canebrake Pro Shop gift certificate, shared cart, lunch, dinner, greens fees, course refreshments, 2 mulligans, 1 power drive and hospitality gifts. All proceeds from the Classic fund scholarships with more than $30,000 raised last year. Scholarships were awarded to fourteen Athens State students for 2017-2018 that volunteer at the tournament and other events throughout the year.
