... 10:00AM to 3:00PM to put the "POW" to childhood cancer with Eli's Block Party Childhood Cancer Awareness Foundation.   

Everyone is encouraged to come as their favorite hero -- well-known or from your own imagination -- by sporting your favorite shirt or outfit, character costume, or rolling up with your slick automobile or motorcycle.    Heroes 4 Victory - a troupe of realistic superheroes will be answering the call to assemble for this annual childhood cancer awareness festival too.
A variety of activities for the family will fill the park with Market Vendors, Food Music, Wigs 4 Kids donation booth, Lego vehicle competition, costume contest, Super Vehicle Parade and a car show.  Real life community heroes from the police, fire and farming community will be on hand too. 

Superhero Day can be found on the grounds of Big Spring Memorial Park - also known as the Duck Pond by locals - at 100 North Beaty Street in Athens.
