Tree Sponsorships Now Available Through October 31st

Athens-Limestone County Tourism Association is proud to announce the opening of the Athens North Pole Stroll Tree Sponsorship period from September 1, 2017 to October 31, 2017. In cooperation with the City of Athens Park and Recreation Department, the event will be returning to Big Spring Memorial Park in the Historic Beaty District.

Sponsors eager to procure a tree will be delighted to know that ...

... tree sponsor, Lowe's of Athens, will be making 7' trees available to the event this year. Businesses, organizations, churches, schools, individuals and families will be able to sponsor a tree for themselves or a non-profit to decorate for $100.00.

Any color of Solar-Powered LED lights may be used. Lowe's will have a variety of Solar-Powered LED and break-resistant decorations to choose from - just look for the North Pole Stroll Approved stickers. It's recommended that 800-1000 lights per tree be installed and ornaments be secured with some form of strapping. (Please see forms below for more details and requirements.)
