2017 JROTC Jingle Bell Jog 5K Continues Christmas Tradition An annual Christmas tradition will be returning December 2nd to the campus of Athens High School (100 U.S. Highway 31N in Athens) to benefit the students and Junior Reserve Officer Training Corp program, better known as the JROTC. The Athens High School JROTC Jingle Bell Jog 5K ... ... ask runners to don their funniest Christmas costume and lace up their shoes for a flat and fast USATF Certified 5K Course (AL13063JD). The race will be chip timed as well. Late registration/packet pickup begins December 1st from 3:30-6:00 p.m. and Race Day will be 6:45-7:30 a.m. Awards include: Overall Top Male/Female, Top Male/Female Masters, Top Male/Female in each age group: 0-13, 14-18, 19-23, 24-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and up.
