The Piney Chapel American Farm Heritage Days, a Southeast Tourism Society Top 20 Event in the Southeast,...

offers so much for the family to explore and enjoy.  Tractors, steam engines and more that have plowed the field, harvested crops, transported crops or family or served the farmer in many hard to imagine ways will be on display, some will be demonstrated, and some will even be ferrying people on a 20-mile circuit on Friday.

Friday, August 4th is the once-a-year opportunity to enjoy the Richard Martin Rails-to-Trails by tractor.  Departure time is at 10:00AM with a layover in the Town of Elkmont for a chance to purchase lunch or take a peak in some of the store before returning to the grounds of Farm Heritage Days and the Parade of Power.  Call for trail ride details

Friday will also be the day you can enjoy a Fish Fry starting at 5:00PM and followed by live entertainment at 5:30PM featuring local bands.  Vendors, Parts Booths, and a flea market will be open for perusing as well.  Call for Space Details

Saturday will be packed with competitions demonstrating the power and driving skills including Fast Crank, Slow Races, and Chain in a Box.  Ladies will get a chance to sling a little iron, literally, with a Skillet Throw.  The kids will get to try their skill and a Pedal Pull using their might and toy pedal tractors.

Admission is $5.00 each day and children 10 and under are free with show grounds opening at 7:00AM until ?. Primitive Camping (no hookups) is available on the grounds as well.  Full Concessions are available both day including Southern favorites Pinto Beans and Cornbread and biscuits Saturday morning.
