Donnell House PastPort Tours

The Donnell House has been chosen as a prestigious PastPort site by the Alabama Bicentennial Commission. Special tours will be held every Tuesday from 10:00AM to 12:00PM and every Thursday from 2:00PM to 4:00PM  through September at the historic home located at 601 South Clinton Street in Athens.

Built in 1845, it served as the headquarters for Union Colonel Ivan Turchin during the infamous Sack of Athens in 1862. No admission is charged, but donations are appreciated.
