Come join us in Athens-Limestone Alabama as we mark 2020 -- A Christmas Wish for Love, Unity and Our Community.
Athens-Limestone County Tourism is proud to sponsor the return of this grand Christmas tradition with the help of our community sponsors. As dreams of a White Christmas begin to fill the air, Big Spring Memorial Park in the Historic Beaty District of Athens Alabama is filled with cheer and whimsy as area organizations, churches, schools, businesses, non-profits, individuals and families unleash their creativity and Christmas spirit via the magical evergreen forest that sprouts each December with help from the Athens Park and Recreation Elves.
This stroll at-your-own-pace, open-air December-long event is open to everyone -- especially as night falls and each tree begins to sparkle and glimmer with fairy lights. Athens North Pole Stroll is perfect for your families memory-making moments especially before or after the Limestone County Commission Tree Lighting and Athens Christmas Parade on December 3rd.
