Athens North Pole Stroll offers an amazing memory-making experience for the whole family with Christmas trees bedecked twinkling lights and creative designs.  Set in Athens' historic Big Spring Memorial Park, it's perfect for strolling, photos, and admiring the Christmas Cheer.
The Elkmont Lions Club Christmas Parade is held the first Saturday of December each year.  The whimsical themes chosen annually bring cheer to young and old who gather along the parade route to enjoy the Elkmont High School Marching Band; assorted floats and vehicles and of course, the Big Man In Red - Santa.
The Limestone County Tree Lighting is held before the Athens Christmas Parade annually.  The crowds gather on the Washington Street side of the courthouse at 5:00PM for music, presentation and finally the lighting of the Christmas Tree -- announcing the official arrival of Christmas cheer to downtown Athens. 
The Athens Christmas Parade is held the first Thursday of December each year.  The annually themed event brings marching bands, floats, assorted vehicles, community organizations and the Jolly Ole' Elf to Athens to the joy and cheer of everyone.
The annual Sippin' Cider Festival invites shoppers to peruse the shops, enjoy the savings, and sample the various versions of cider and vote for their favorite merchant's recipe.  The warm sippings and naughty-totty versions are sure to bring cheer to your day.  
The Christmas Open House occurs the weekend before Thanksgiving in downtown Athens with specials with shops, boutiques and eateries to help shoppers check off their list.  Caroling, ice skating, snow and a few familiar faces strolling the sidewalks to bring cheer to whole family.
The Mooresville Holiday Home Tour invites tour guest to step into the past as the town and homes are bedecked with fresh greenery and red bows, Della Robbia wreaths of colorful fresh fruit and natural materials hang on the doors of our historic public buildings, community signs, and homes are decorated in the tradition of Christmas past. 
The Historic Donnell House Festival of Trees debuts the  Friday after Thanksgiving with featurettes of themed trees and decor tucked amid antiques of the home.   This family-friendly, limited engagement event is packed with cheer and charm.
The Ardmore Christmas Parade is held annually on the second Monday of December featuring the Pride of the Stateline Marching Band, floats, a variety of vehicles and Jolly Ol' Saint Nick himself bringing smiles and cheer to young and old.
The Big Man with a jolly laugh and white-fur trimmed red suit, Santa Claus, makes his stop in Ardmore Alabama at the Bryan House - Ardmore Town Hall in early December.  Be sure to bring your camera and snap some memories and Christmas Cheer as your child visits with St. Nick.
The Bethlehem Walk is an immersive, memory-making experience for the whole family that re-enacts the day of Jesus birth in the City of Bethlehem. As attendees assume the role of a citizen returning to Jerusalem for the census, they find themselves strolling the streets amid Roman Centerions, shop keepers, bakers, tradesmen and citizens going about their daily lives.
Enjoy the Nativity Story from the comfort of your own car as vignettes of Jerusalem with animals and familiar names of the Bible come to life.  The whole family will enjoye the story of the birth of Jesus told via CD or special device as you slowly cruise through the tale.
The Ardmore Tinsel Trail fills the park around the Bryan House - Ardmore Alabama Town Hall with whimsy and Christmas cheer.  The tree-lighting of the bedecked trees occurs early December with festivities to welcome one and all.
