Limestone County Storm Shelters

Limestone County offers storm shelters that are open to the public and will be opened when Limestone County is placed under at TORNADO WATCH.  Animals are prohibited unless they are registered service animals.

The following are rules for Limestone County's community storm shelters.

• No firearms or weapons

• No smoking

• No alcoholic beverages or drugs

• No pets, with the exception of service dogs for persons with disabilities

• Children must be supervised at all times

• Be respectful of others
