The Columns and Culture: Limestone County Antebellum Trail is a driving/walking trail that winds through Athens, Belle Mina and Mooresville highlighting select homes and structures of the post-Civil War period.
Visitors are welcome to step inside the Mooresville Post Office, George S Houston Memorial Library and Museum, Athens State University, and the community churches during hours of operation. All other properties are privately held and respectfully request visitors stay to sidewalks and streets and refrain from entering.

The Antebellum Trail features directional markers along the route. The brown background signs features a historic structure at bottom with an indication arrow to help visitors along the way.
